Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) is a world-class provider of airline, events, and VIP catering, along with a range of ancillary services including laundry, food production, and airport lounge food and beverage services. Based in Dubai, EKFC supports Emirates Airline and more than 100 international airlines operating from Dubai International Airport.
In 2007, EKFC launched a state-of-the-art catering complex dedicated to servicing Emirates flights. With a built-up area exceeding 56,000 square metres, it is the largest facility of its kind in the world. In November 2018, the facility was further expanded with a dedicated wing for the production of Emirates First Class and Business Class meals, reinforcing EKFC’s commitment to premium quality and innovation.
Emirates Flight Catering is 90% owned by Emirates Airline, with the remaining shares held by Dubai Airports Corporation, and operates as a subsidiary of The Emirates Group. Today, EKFC produces an average of 225,000 meals per day and employs over 11,000 people from more than 70 nationalities, making it a truly global and multicultural workplace.
